About

An independent tool for recording-session pre-production

Kaldrik is a pre-production planner for recording sessions. It is the layer between booking the room and hitting record: a place to map a song's arrangement, list the inputs and the order you will track them in, plan the schedule, budget, and crew, and know the moment every song is actually ready for the studio.

Why it exists

Booking apps schedule the room and your DAW records the audio, but the actual plan for a session usually lives in scattered spreadsheets, group chats, and notebooks. That gap is where paid studio hours get burned working out what to do next. Kaldrik exists to be the missing layer that holds the whole plan in one place, so everyone walks in prepared instead of figuring it out on the clock.

Who it is for

Kaldrik is built for the people who run and play sessions: bands and solo artists getting their songs studio-ready, and studio owners and engineers who want a clear, shared plan before the session starts. The same project can be shared as a read-only link so the whole team is on the same page.

Made by one person

Kaldrik is an independent, one-person product, built and maintained independently. It is not a venture-backed startup chasing an exit. That means feedback reaches the person who actually builds it, and it gets weighed against what will genuinely help people plan better sessions, not against a growth target.
