Multiple invoices, each shareable by link, QR & PNG

  • Bill in stages: create multiple invoices per project (for example a deposit, a progress invoice, and a final), each with its own number, bill-to, line items, and terms, all built from your budget.
  • Every invoice gets its own read-only share link the client can open without an account, complete with a QR code for quick access from a phone, plus Save as PNG alongside Print / Save as PDF.
  • The readiness command center was renamed from Forgewright to Overview, to match what you click in the toolbar.

Studio operations: gear, quotes & payments, reminders, bookings, and audio review

  • New Gear library (sidebar): a reusable inventory of your equipment (mics, DIs, preamps, and more) with category, brand, model, quantity, serial, and status. Search and filter it, import or export it as JSON, and pull a piece of gear straight into a song's input list.
  • Quotes & payments: the Schedule, Budget & Crew planner gains a Quote tab that turns your budget into a client-facing estimate you can lock, send, and mark accepted or declined (an accepted quote becomes the billable basis for the invoice), and a Payments tab that logs deposits and partial payments and tracks the balance due. Kaldrik does not process payments and never collects or stores card or bank account details.
  • Reminders hub (sidebar): a session countdown and readiness reminders, calendar invites (.ics) with alarms for the session and each crew member, optional browser notifications, and copy-and-send reminder packs. Kaldrik never sends email or SMS on your behalf.
  • Bookings calendar (sidebar): a studio-wide, multi-room calendar across every project, with month, week, and day views, double-booking detection, and a floor-plan view with a time slider to see which rooms are busy when.
  • Audio review (sidebar): upload mixes and masters (up to 100 MB; MP3 or 16/24-bit WAV) and stack versions, with a waveform player, a volume control, and click-to-leave time-stamped comments. On a shared link, clients can comment and approve or request changes. Audio is stored privately and served only through short-lived links.

A redesigned Song page, and Arrangement gets its own tab

  • The Arrangement Map is now its own tab, right next to Song, instead of hiding behind a dropdown. Song holds the details; Arrangement holds the Table and Grid views of the structure.
  • The Song page is redesigned: a bold title header with at-a-glance chips (key, tempo, time signature, tuning, session date), your details grouped into clear Music, Session, and Creative cards, and a summary rail showing the song's readiness, runtime, and the next step to studio-ready.
  • Everything's where it was, just better organized: tap tempo, the metronome, the tempo map, calendar invites, reference-track search, and chart mode all carried over.

Overview (readiness command center), Focus mode & Studio view

  • The Overview (the renamed Project Status) is now your readiness command center: the single next step, easy wins that clear several songs at once, the hidden risks that bite on session day, a blockers matrix, and an estimate of how much prep time is left.
  • Focus mode walks you through the open items one at a time, quick wins first, with the editor inlined so a fix takes a keystroke.
  • Studio view (in the projects switcher) puts every project on one board: what needs attention, what's in progress, what's studio-ready, each with its readiness and next-session countdown.
  • Faster everywhere: a much smaller fonts/CSS payload, optimized images, and deferred analytics for a quicker first load.
  • Security & accessibility: two-factor authentication is now enforced at the data layer, with stronger security headers and continued attention to color contrast across the themes.

Budget & libraries: true session cost, invoicing, taxes, currencies, and a studios/bands library

  • New Studios, Venues & Bands library (sidebar): a reusable list of the places and acts you work with, with country-aware addresses and default rates, saved to your account like Contacts. Pick a saved studio in the Budget tab to fill its rate.
  • Contacts: the Role field now suggests common studio & audio-production roles, and you can still type your own.
  • Budget: add taxes, a percentage of just the cost buckets you choose (studio / crew / meals / other), with your country's default tax (VAT, GST, sales tax…) pre-filled and editable.
  • Multi-currency: pick your country and amounts format correctly everywhere (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, MXN, JPY, AUD) with the right symbol, placement, and separators.
  • Addresses now adapt to the country: field labels, order, and postal/ZIP rules follow the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, France, Japan, or Australia.
  • Schedule, Budget & Crew now totals the real cost of a session in one place. Set the studio rate per hour, per day, or as a flat fee. The billable time auto-fills from your schedule (or tracking estimate) and you can override it.
  • Give each crew member a pay rate (per hour / day / flat) so the producer, engineer, session players, and roadies all feed the total. Adding someone from your contacts brings their saved rate along.
  • Add meals / per-diem ($/person × people × days). Studio time, crew, meals, and your other budget lines now roll into one project total, so no more numbers that disagree.
  • The sidebar “Studio Rate” is now set in Schedule, Budget & Crew (click it to open) so it can never drift from the budget.
  • Generate an invoice from the whole breakdown, with an editable header (number, bill-to, issue date, terms) and Print / Save-PDF. It's in the Budget tab.

Collaborators, branded sharing, DAW export & accounts

  • Collaborators: invite bandmates or your engineer to a project as an editor or viewer (they work from their own account), managed with a one-click Collaborators button in the project sidebar. See who else is in a project live, and get nudged the moment a collaborator saves.
  • Activity log (🗒️ Activity, top-right): a full history of who added or removed songs, created or revoked share links, posted comments, and invited or removed people, grouped by day in each person's local timezone (also surfaced in the Collaborators panel).
  • Sharing controls: share links can now expire on a date or require a passcode, and pending invitations show in the projects switcher and the 🔔 bell (which nudges when you have unread items).
  • Branded shared pages: white-label a shared project with release artwork, an album cover, a band logo, and a studio logo, plus a release type (Single, EP, Album, Demo, Mixtape, Live) and an accent color, all shown on the shared page and its printed PDF (set in the Share dialog). Your logo prints larger on the cover and repeats as a header on later pages, and Session Requirements lay out in columns, with more sample-rate/bit-depth options and write-ins for lodging, backline, hours, and parking.
  • Export to your DAW: export a song's tempo map and section markers as a MIDI file (Tempo map → Export for DAW, or the Ctrl/⌘-K palette) for Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, Ableton, Cubase, or Studio One. Reaper users can export the Input List as a track template and sections as a region CSV; you can also export the Input List as a plain track sheet (.csv) or a stem-name list, or grab the whole DAW pack (.zip) — tempo MIDI, track template, region CSV, track sheet, stem names, and a README.
  • Names & account: choose a display name and avatar (change it anytime in Account) so collaborators and the activity log show your name instead of a cryptic email. The Account panel is reorganized: see the devices currently signed in (each with its IP and last activity), sign any of them out or "sign out everywhere", and sign in with a magic link.
  • A "Getting started" checklist for new projects, an in-app What's new, and a Send feedback box.

Sharing, printouts & polish

  • Shared plans: songs start collapsed with a clear Expand control, and a printable cover page + song/credits overview.
  • Printout fixes: no more blank trailing page; Schedule, Call sheet and each Stage plot start on their own page; Requirements print in columns.
  • Share dialog: open the read-only link in a new tab, plus choose exactly which songs and sections appear.
  • Contacts: separate First/Last name, Location vs. Studio, and a rate with a per day / hour / custom unit.
  • Project Status (formerly Dashboard): recording progress, songs-ready countdown, and expandable “Top blockers”.
  • Session Requirements (“rider”): check what the studio provides, what the band brings, specs and logistics, all shown on the share link & printout.
  • Tidier menus: opening one nav/menu now closes the others.
